This book is so wonderful! The characters in Hugo's works are so realistic, and the ugly and bad Archdeacon Claude is really annoying. But I still like Quasimodo very much. Although he is ugly on the outside, he is kind at heart. This reminds me of the movie version of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame," where Quasimodo is also super touching! I feel that this book and the movie are both in a romantic style, which makes people immersed in it.
