The story begins when Lu Xiyou comes down from the mountain and returns home, only to be told that she has an adopted younger brother. Everyone assumes she’ll hate this brother, who is all show and no substance. To their surprise, Lu Xiyou spoils him until he grows into a refined scoundrel and a little beast.
When they first meet, she says, “Mom, I’ve only been away from home for a few years. When did you have a daughter for me?” She reaches out to pat his head, but before she can touch him, her mother smacks her hand.
“He’s your younger brother.”
“Hey, kid, call me big sister.” The child gives her a slight, disdainful eye roll.
“Hey, kid, give me your hand. Careful, you might slip.” The child lets out an arrogant little huff, then cautiously places his hand in hers.
“Hey, kid, I’m leaving. You have to be good.” Now a teenager, the boy clutches his bloodied hand and casually says, “Okay.”
The story ends with the young man holding a bouquet of flowers as he comes to welcome his girl.
The world stretches endlessly, but wherever you are is home.
As long as I give a rating, it's all about my five stars. I'm so annoyed with Lin Ning. The author's character design is too bad. He is submissive to others but hits hard to the protagonist.
It looks great, please give it a thumbs up to the author
