All survivors joined the United Empire, and from then on, there were no more separate nations. The protagonist, Lin Jietian, was born unable to cultivate. He accidentally heard that a Cleansing Fruit that could alter the human body had appeared outside the Sacred City. But while picking one, he was betrayed by a friend and bitten by a zombie. Just as he was on the verge of death, he awakened the Invincible Plant System.
