Exorcising Demons, Only to Be Turned Into a Puppet by an Adorable Mountain Spirit Girl?

In the eyes of Jiu Yujue, an exorcist of unremarkable talent, his life seemed to stretch out before him with nothing unexpected in store.

But an accident during an exorcism turned his fate upside down. Instead of exorcising the demon, he was overpowered by Hua Linglong, a mountain spirit girl, who cast a spell to turn him into her puppet.

With the help of a mysterious voice, he avoided becoming a puppet. The spell instead became the catalyst for awakening his talents, and an encounter with Hua Linglong even gave him a lead on the enemy he had been tracking for years.

“Ah, I’ve become a puppet!” (In a flat tone, waiting to see what tricks this girl tries next.)

“Great! I’ll take you somewhere nice right now!”

???

A clash that leads to understanding + both hiding their own agendas + joint adventures + eating their way around.

At a bustling monster market, they go from awkwardly exploring together to supporting each other in perfect sync.

In the end, they solve every mystery, face the mastermind, and join forces to defeat him!

And then what?

“What happens after this? You don’t want me to be your puppet anymore?”

“If you tease me again, I won’t take you with me!”

You’re so adorable. Maybe, actually, I became your puppet the moment I first saw you.

It has a happy ending. Enjoy!
