Quotations from Le Yu Tang

Taoist Tianyuan Danfa Internal Refining Works. Five volumes. Narrated by Huang Shang of the Qing Dynasty. It was written in the late Qing Dynasty. Huang Shang, named Yuan Ji, whose birth and death are unknown, was born in Fengcheng, Jiangxi Province. During the reign of Guangxu (approximately eleven years ago), he preached at Le Yu Tang in Fushun County, Sichuan. He wrote "Quotations from Le Yu Tang", "Tao Dao Lectures" (originally known as "Annotation of Tao De Jing", later "Essence of Tao De Jing", and today it is called this name), "Tao Men Yu Yao" and other books. He also annotated two books, "Xingxin Jing" and "Qiu Xin Jing", which have not been handed down to the world. His surname is the same as that of Huang Yuanji in the Yuan Dynasty. The five volumes of this book are the notes recorded by Huang Yuanji's students when he was preaching. They were compiled and corrected by his disciples and have been handed down to the world. Because this book was originally a lecture record, it is easier to understand than other alchemy books. It explains more clearly the inner alchemy theories such as Yang Sheng, refining the heart, refining the self, using fire to collect medicine, innate and acquired essence, energy, and dual cultivation of life and life.
