Compared with the Spring and Autumn Period, the records of Gongyang Zhuan are easier to read. The Spring and Autumn Period is more about talking about people and things, which extends to the author's political opinions; the Gongyang Zhuan is more diary-style, focusing on time, place and people, and focuses more on the use of words, and the introduction of the characters is clearer. Sometimes in the Spring and Autumn Period, a person uses his or her first name. Referring to official positions, if you don't look it up specifically, some of them would not be guessed to be the same person at all. Gongyang Zhuanhui has special explanations for some characters, and there are also special records for natural disasters, such as solar eclipses, earthquakes, locusts, etc., But sometimes the previous explanations seem a bit verbose, which is a bit long-winded compared to the Spring and Autumn Period.
