This book is very good! The author Frances Hodgson Burnett is amazing and created such a colorful story. Mary in the book is a bit withdrawn at first, but as the story develops, she finds happiness and growth in the secret garden. I especially loved the friendship between her and the peculiar boy and their efforts together to bring the garden back to life. This book made me feel the power of friendship and courage. It is really worth reading!
The protagonists are all cute, and everyone is a good person. The story is warm and childlike. Colin feels that he is getting better because of the magic in the garden. Dicko is a really good boy and has many animal companions.
