This book made me feel a strong Northeastern style, and the author's delicate writing style made me feel like I was in a small town on the Hulan River. The scenes depicted in the book, such as dancing to the gods, also reminded me of similar scenes I saw in my hometown when I was a child. In particular, the tragic experience of Xiaoyuanyuan's daughter-in-law gave me a deeper understanding of the social reality of old China. Xiao Hong's writing is very contagious and made me feel the same way, just like I myself have experienced the things in the book. All in all, this is a book well worth reading.
