This book reminds me of the experience of a friend of mine. Her family is just like Hami in the book, with multi-racial integration, everyone supports each other and is happy. The Hami people described in the book are engaged in farming and weaving rather than fighting. This peaceful attitude towards life is really very admirable. I also admire the majesty of the Queen Mother's crossbow. It's really amazing that she can make people in the country be in awe. Overall, this book gave me a deeper understanding of the history of the Western Regions, and also made me cherish my current peaceful life more.
