Synopsis

"Qianjin Yifang" was written by Sun Simiao, a medical scientist in the Tang Dynasty, and was written in the second year of Yongchun (682). The author collected nearly thirty years of experience in his later years to make up for the shortcomings of his earlier masterpiece "Qian Jin Yao Prescription", hence the name Yifang. Sun Simiao believed that life is worth more than a thousand pieces of gold, and a prescription can save people from danger, so it is very appropriate to name this book after a thousand pieces of gold. The book "Qianjin Yifang" has a total of thirty volumes. During the Northern Song Dynasty, the revised medical bookstore corrected its biography and published it nationwide. The Song Dynasty printing version was lost before the Ming Dynasty. Fortunately, the printing plate was preserved. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Wang Kentang, the compiler of the Hanlin Academy and the internal chain change, compiled and engraved the Song version of "Qian Jin Yifang" on the order of Emperor Wanli. "Qian Jin Yifang" is one of the most important traditional Chinese medicine classics in the history of our country.

This book "Qian Jin Yi Fang" is very good! I especially like the part about typhoid fever. Sun Simiao's research on typhoid fever is really meticulous.
