Ten volumes. It was translated by Jananajue in the Sui Dynasty. Collected in the first volume of the Taisho Collection. Its content describes the organization, state, origin, development and deterioration of the world. It is divided into twelve grades: Yama Fuzhou Grade, Yudan Yuezhou Grade, Chakravartin King Grade, Hell Grade, Dragon Garuda Grade, Asura Grade, Four Heavenly Kings Grade, Thirty-three Heaven Grade, Fighting Grade, Tribulation Dwelling Grade, World Dwelling Grade, and the Most Excellent Grade. There are six translations of this sutra, but only four are extant. In addition to this sutra, the remaining three are the Sutra of the Origin of the World (translated by Bodhidharmagupta in the Sui Dynasty), the Great Building Tan Sutra (co-translated by Fa Li and Fa Ju in the Western Jin Dynasty), and the Chang Agama Sutra Volumes 18 to 22 (co-translated by Buddha Yasa and Zhu Fo Nian in the Eastern Jin Dynasty).
