“I know that once I enter the darkness, I can never return to the sunlight. I’m sorry. Forgive me, and come with me into the darkness.” A faint smile curved Tsuna Sawada’s lips. His brown eyes held their usual warmth, but now there was a hint of determination as he took both of Misaka Tsuruko’s hands, his touch warm yet firm.

Misaka Tsuruko gazed at him, entranced, and fell for him all over again.

“I’m Byakuran Gesso. What’s with that look?” Byakuran raised an eyebrow, picked up the white suit jacket from the chair, and draped it over his shoulders. “Are you really that reluctant to work for me?”

Misaka Tsuruko turned the ring in her hand. “That’s not it. I’m just surprised, and kind of amused, that someone as insignificant as me caught your attention.”

One schemed against the other, while the other played along. They embraced in the flames, and perished in them, too.

“Hey!!! You little brat! You’re one of Varia, so get over there and train properly!” Squalo was fed up. He was the Sword Emperor, yet here he was, stuck looking after two kids with terrible personalities. Damn that bastard Boss!

“I’ve told you, I’m not part of Varia.” Misaka Tsuruko, who had always worn a mask of ice, was on the verge of breaking. She was about to lose it.

Tsuna Sawada stepped in front of her. “XANXUS, this isn’t appropriate behavior from Varia.”

“Hmph. Trash.”

I’m a total beginner who’s never been in a relationship, so the romance is pretty weak. I’m writing out of love for the series. I really enjoy writing extras and hearing feedback.
