The Jin Upheaval

As the echoes of the Three Kingdoms fade, the Western Jin Dynasty takes the stage of history. It should have been a ray of hope after years of chaos, but it soon sank into a mire of its own making. After Sima Yan became emperor, he enfeoffed the princes, planting the seeds of future calamity. At court, powerful clans vied for dominance, while greed and deceit ran rampant. The aristocracy lived in extravagant luxury and indulged without restraint.

The Rebellion of the Eight Princes burned like a raging inferno, consuming the foundations of the Western Jin. The people were left destitute, corpses of the starving littered the land, and some even resorted to cannibalism. Meanwhile, the non-Han peoples who had migrated inland seized the moment to rise up. Amid this “Jin turmoil,” rival factions fought for supremacy as the regime teetered on the brink of collapse. Follow the protagonist as they uncover this blood-soaked, tear-stained chapter of history and witness how the Western Jin fell to greed and upheaval.
