The creative techniques in the book are very practical and the examples are beautiful. I especially like the part about observation methods, which reminds me of some of the confusions I had when painting landscapes, and this book gave me a good answer. However, I kind of hate a certain character in the book who is always there to criticize other people's work, which feels very unkind. Overall, this is a highly recommended book!
