This book is an introduction to the world's characteristic elderly care construction projects. The book is divided into five chapters. The first two chapters are theoretical analyzes related to "community elderly care". First, they analyze the current situation of my country's overall elderly care and compare it with advanced foreign elderly care countries. Secondly, they briefly describe the basic model of "community elderly care". The last three chapters introduce in detail more than a dozen different types of community care center design cases at home and abroad. The cases are summarized and classified into three different types according to the different operating models of each care project. At the same time, they provide in-depth analysis with architectural design drawings, analysis drawings and real-life photos. Returning to residential areas is in line with the retirement psychology of most Chinese elderly people. This book provides operation and design examples worth learning from, and has certain reference value for those related to the elderly care industry.

I especially like the case analysis inside, which is very detailed and contains many practical design drawings and photos. However, I hate those parts that are too theoretical and a bit boring. Overall, this book is worth reading, especially for those working in elderly care.
