Synopsis

This is an introductory drawing guide for readers with no prior experience. It is divided into three main sections: lessons, coloring, and comics. The lessons extract and explain fundamental drawing techniques through practical examples. Five categories of themed examples are presented step by step, progressing from easy to difficult. Diagrams and explanations of key techniques make it easy for readers to follow along and learn. Fun comics and hands-on coloring activities featuring comic characters give readers more enjoyment and opportunities to practice as they learn drawing techniques. Readers can learn with ease, enjoy the material, and color freely. The author, Yu Haokun, whose real name is Hua Ting, is a popular original comic artist on Douyin and graduated with a degree in animation. Her currently serialized comic, "Me and My 90-Year-Old Grandpa," is hugely popular on Weibo and Douyin.
