In April 2021, an unknown corpse excavated from a railway somewhere in northern Jiangsu Province plunged the local police station into chaos; until June of the same year, the retired former head of the special case team came from Heilongjiang and brought a young teacher to claim the body.
At the same time, the new detective Jia Zhenxiang returned to the year 1999 where the deceased was alive in his dream. The commonality of memories and experiences gradually revealed the identity of the corpse and the mystery of twenty-one years ago.
