Douluo Dalu: Void Roar

This book leans toward a blend of politics and fantasy. The protagonist isn't invincible, and this isn't a power fantasy. It isn't mindless, and the setting is explained, so even readers who haven't read Douluo can follow along.

As the world was ending, Dai Tianshu was sent to another world to be reborn by the great master Jian Xinghe. Unexpectedly, he arrived in Douluo Dalu as the son of a prince who had lost the struggle for the throne, and the cousin of Dai Mubai.

To fulfill the wish entrusted to him, Dai Tianshu escaped the emperor's control with his mother's help and began building his own faction. He persuaded Dai Mubai to stand against the crown prince, Dai Weisi, and ultimately changed the course of the Star Luo Empire with his own hands. Alongside Spirit Hall and the Heaven Dou Empire, he vied for dominion over the land, carving out a grand and eventful journey in another world.
