Hello, everyone. I’m a storyteller of strange and supernatural tales from Northeast China. Many spine-chilling stories have been passed down across this black-soil land. Shared by word of mouth, they have added to the region’s mysterious atmosphere. Here, I’ll share some of my own experiences and some of the supernatural events widely told in the area, giving you a glimpse into this fantastical world.
First, I come from a remote village with many ancient legends. Ever since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by these stories and loved asking the village elders about them. Over time, I collected many bizarre tales, and they became precious treasures to share with others.
This land is home to many legends about ghosts, fox spirits, demons, and monsters. These stories often take place late at night in the mountains, in abandoned old houses, or along quiet country lanes. Though they may seem absurd, they lend the folk culture of Northeast China a deep sense of mystery.
I once experienced a supernatural event I’ll never forget. It happened on a moonlit night when I was walking alone in the woods outside the village. Suddenly, I sensed something uncanny in the air, and the temperature around me seemed to drop sharply. Just then, a hazy figure appeared before my eyes.
The figure kept shifting between clear and indistinct, as if trying to tell me something. The strange sight stunned me. I didn’t dare approach, so I could only watch in silence. It wasn’t until the sky began to lighten and the morning dew appeared that the figure gradually vanished. That experience convinced me even more that there are things in this world beyond our understanding.
