This book is a contemporary original novel. The novel takes the construction of the Qinghai-Tibet Highway in the 1980s as the background and creates a touching image of a group of infrastructure engineering soldiers. The novel tells the story of a group of soldiers who were assigned to the Sharp Knife Company due to various circumstances. They continued to break hard bones in the road construction projects of Tanggula Mountain, Fengshan Mountain, and Tuotuo River Bridge, and finally successfully completed the mission.
