The protagonist, Lin Chen, is a police academy dropout who is in dire straits because he accidentally joins a gang. During a dangerous operation, Lin Chen accidentally obtained a mysterious system called the "Eye of Truth", which gave him extraordinary reasoning and observation abilities. He used the system to solve a series of complicated cases, and thus gained the trust of the police station again.
