Do the gods protect humanity, or enslave it?
Bloodthirsty flocks beneath the moonlight, shattered deities made of clay, broken masks, ripples spreading across the sea, circling crows, an old woman's devout prayers, laughter, whispers, kneeling, submission;
Anchors, projections, truth and illusion;
The blade of time, the merciless passage of years;
They came, they sang, they conquered, they died;
The charred remains of a white dwarf. Everything will vanish into the universe's final silence, just as tears disappear in the rain!
