Zhixi: “If I could start over, I’d give Yandan my whole heart. I only wish her a life of peace and happiness.”
Yandan: “If I could start over, I’d rather we had never met. I only wish the lotus had been born with two blooms, grown toward the sun, and never taken human form.”
Tang Zhuang: “What? Then how about I give it a try?”
A busy office worker’s earnest prayers finally bring her to the world she has long dreamed of. She gets to experience the kind of transmigration she’d only ever read about in novels, swearing she’ll enjoy the heroine’s halo, but the road ahead is anything but smooth.
An original female protagonist. The main plot follows the TV series, but new stories unfold from Tang Zhuang’s perspective.
Tang Zhuang is a seasoned office worker whose daily job is handling all kinds of customer complaints. Her only pleasure is watching dramas. After rewatching Immortal Samsara countless times and running out of shows to watch, she turns to fanfiction. But none of the many stories she reads has the ending she wants. What exactly does she want? She isn’t sure herself. It might be greedy to keep all the characters in her own harem, and it certainly wouldn’t be humane. But she can’t claim to be a die-hard Ying Yuan fan either. Sigh, as a woman in her thirties, she just can’t bring herself to be that devoted. So every night before bed, she quietly imagines entering the show and experiencing the heroine’s halo for herself.
Perhaps Heaven took pity on her. At last, on one pitch-black night, Tang Zhuang successfully transmigrates into Immortal Samsara. She expects to enter the heroine’s body and enjoy the freedom of her role, but instead, she becomes a character who never existed in the original story. Now Tang Zhuang is stumped: whose storyline should she follow?
Not bad, can be used to pass the time.
Can't there be a little extra at the end?
Good job, but the ending is a bit hasty
A very nice book
