College student Qiao An'an is unexpectedly diagnosed with a terminal illness. In her final days, she looks back on the first half of her life and feels that her youth was full of regrets. If she could live her youth over again, she would go wild, she decides. Even if her life were short, she would have no regrets. As Qiao An'an closes her eyes, she seems to see that sultry summer and all those familiar faces. Her youth gives her an answer: she is reborn. Now, surrounded by people and events that feel both strange and familiar, she doesn't know how to tell what is real from what is false. Then, one day, in a sudden fit of madness, she spots the trail of the truth amid the swirling fog of the present. She follows the course of her life, trying to unravel the unknown truth, but by the time it finally comes to light, Qiao An'an is already in tears.
