[Demon hunting] [Leveling up by fighting monsters] [Love interests] [Brothers at odds]

Luo Yue is a good-for-nothing college graduate who is unemployed straight out of school. One day, while wandering around her residential compound, she gets hit by a luxury car driven by He Wei, a man in gold-rimmed glasses who looks like a rich young master. She later discovers that He Wei runs a private research firm that handles strange commissions, such as helping people get revenge. Luo Yue is the talented employee he has set his sights on, and she plays a key role in his revenge plans.

While carrying out the revenge commissions, Luo Yue discovers that she is an Obsidian Underworld Envoy with supernatural powers and an extraordinary talent for hunting demons. He Wei does everything he can to get her to join his demon-hunting company.

And so begins a strange journey of demon hunting!

He Wei's younger brother is a demon herder who raises demons and collects the energy of desire. To subdue the demons, they must defeat He Wei's own younger brother.

Both brothers fall in love with Luo Yue. Then she discovers that in her past life, she was a demon too. Can she still go on hunting demons? Should she follow the older brother and continue demon hunting, or accept her fate as a reincarnated demon and become a demon herder?
