The second book about the Ming Dynasty that I read after Those Things in the Ming Dynasty has a different focus from the description of those things in the Ming Dynasty. After reading the two books, they complemented each other to a certain extent and gave me a deeper understanding of the Ming Dynasty.

The writing style of this book is very interesting, like telling a story, and it clearly explains the history of the Ming Dynasty. The characters have distinct personalities and rich experiences, which gave me a deeper understanding of the characters in the Ming Dynasty. Moreover, the book also connects history with modern times, which I found very interesting. I feel that the author's writing style is also good and it is worth reading!
