This book is really good! Mr. Lu Simian clearly explained the complicated period of the Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, which gave me a deeper understanding of that period of history. In particular, the analysis of the rise and fall of clans and changes in social classes is very enlightening. Moreover, the role of culture was mentioned, which made me realize that culture also has a great influence on history. I think this book is not only suitable for people who are interested in history, but also for housewives like me. Reading it can gain a lot of knowledge!

A chronological history is the result of years of continuous writing and research. In this book, Mr. Lu comprehensively describes the evolution of society and humanities and the characteristics of the times in the Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties. The first two chapters describe the political history from the split of the Jin Dynasty to the reunification of the north and the south, and the latter two chapters cover the background and development of society, institutions, economy, and culture. I am probably the only person who has read it from beginning to end in Tomato🍅, and I sigh with regret.
