"Surgery" tells a workplace romance/inspirational story set in a hospital and starring a famous surgeon.
Zhuang Shu, a talented young surgeon, left the world's cutting-edge thoracic surgery clinical research institution and returned to China, to Renhe Hospital, a Chinese public hospital that has been complained by countless colleagues. On the day he arrived, he was involved in a doctor-patient conflict involving multiple interests, and thus met Lu Chenxi, a young female doctor in the thoracic surgery department of Renhe Hospital.
Zhuang Shu gradually attracted Lu Chenxi with his superb medical skills and personality charm that balanced dignity and harmony. In the process of fighting side by side with Zhuang Shu, Lu Chenxi gradually changed his inexperienced, overly proud and willful side. But when they shared life and death together and cared for each other, Zhuang Shu told Lu Chenxi the biggest secret, which related to his mother who died unjustly while working at Renhe Hospital many years ago.
And he came back this time to find out the truth about the "accident" that year. However, he accidentally discovered that Lu Chenxi was the daughter of the patient who died in the medical accident... Moreover, the doctor involved was now the director of the hospital and a leading figure in the medical field. Even if he was getting closer to the truth step by step, how could he make them admit the mistakes they made many years ago? Doctors are kind-hearted, but what is difficult to face is the human heart. Fortunately, the doctors in the story did not give up.

I like Lu Chenxi very much. She has a straightforward personality and excellent medical skills. But I kind of hate her parents. They always come or run away suddenly, causing a lot of trouble for her and Zhuang Shu. This reminds me of when I just gave birth to a child, and I also hoped to spend a good year with my family. The plot in the book is quite resonant. Overall, this book is well worth reading!
The plot has ups and downs and is exciting. It provides a relatively in-depth description and analysis of different doctors and different patients. It introduces deep thoughts about the profession of doctors and even human nature in stories that are either heartwarming or tense.
It's very interesting, interesting, and fascinating. It's a good book.
