Doomsday: The Road to Survival

In 2028, a massive earthquake suddenly struck Nanjizhou. An ancient virus buried deep underground was released, merging with existing viruses and mutating. Overnight, everyone whose immune system failed to fight off the virus transformed, while those who successfully developed immunity survived. But the survivors still had to find a way to live.

No sanctimonious protagonist, no toxic plot points.

A post-apocalyptic novel with no System or special abilities.
