Phoenix Rules the World

“A phoenix daughter will be born to the Feng family, and she will rule the world.”

Because of an absurd prophecy issued by the Imperial Astronomical Bureau, her elder sister was brought into the palace at sixteen and became the envied Noble Consort Yun. And because of that same absurd prophecy, Emperor Zhenyuan bestowed poisoned wine upon her, after which she disappeared for many years.

When she returned to the prosperous capital of Yandu, transformed beyond recognition, she held fast to only one conviction: to kill her enemies with her own hands and pay tribute to her dead sister and the entire Feng family!

(A fictional setting, not a pure romance. All ranks and titles are made up. The heroine is career-minded, not the love-struck type.)
