I Watched a Short Video, So Why Are All the Ancients Reeling?

(Ancient figures + history + wild imagination + protagonist is just a tool) (The videos he scrolls through are purely historical shorts!) (Historic highlights + “What if you were a great figure from history,” such as a poet or eminent official + dynastic anecdotes, whatever you want to see, I’ve got it all! + historical retrospectives!) (Important: These are all parallel timelines, so changes in one era will not affect any other era!) Zhao Ping had no idea that the short videos he watched were being broadcast to countless dynasties across the heavens. Emperors and great figures from history were astonished. [See the fall of the Qin dynasty in one minute!] Ying Zheng: “My Great Qin was supposed to last for generations! Zhao Gao, Li Si, I’ll make you wish you were dead!” [Limited-time Han dynasty cheat code: Huo Qubing!] Emperor Wu of Han: “What! [So, what are history’s greatest regrets?] Was it the mighty Qin Empire, meant to last for generations, brought down by its second emperor? Was it Huo Qubing, one of the empire’s twin pillars, who died young after reaching the lands of the Xiongnu and raising a monument to his victories? Was it Emperor Taizu of Song, Zhao Kuangyin, who never managed to unite the Central Plains in his lifetime? Was it Chancellor Zhuge Liang, who launched five northern campaigns and finally gazed at the heavens with a sigh: “Vast heavens above, why have you treated me so unfairly?” When loyal ministers and treacherous officials of later generations are shown to the emperors of every dynasty, the rulers erupt in an uproar. Emperor Taizong of Tang Li Shimin: “My son took my woman, Wu Zetian???” Emperor Taizu of Song Zhao Kuangyin: “You killed Yue Fei on trumped-up charges? I’ll wipe out the entire Qin Hui clan!” Emperor Taizu of Ming Zhu Yuanzhang: “Fourth son, what I give you is yours, but you don’t get to steal the throne!” What if you were the patriotic poet Lu You... What if you were Wu Cheng'en, author of Journey to the West... What if you were...
