All-knowing and all-powerful, immortal, transcendent above all living beings...
You might answer that way, but I have to tell you that answer is inaccurate and one-sided. Every god has a different definition of what it means to be one.
The Creation God's answer was: "Gods can die, too. The day a god grows weary of this world is the day death arrives."
The Destruction God's answer was: "Gods can grieve, too. A mortal's sorrow hurts only themselves, but a god's sorrow can destroy everything."
The Life God's answer was: "Gods long for love, too. A god can undo anything, but cannot bring back a love that has passed."
The Death God...
The Time God...
And my answer is: Gods are nothing but prisoners of the universe!
