Wang Gang was an unremarkable boy from the mortal world.

Then, one day, he was taken to hell in his sleep.

After enduring inhuman torment, he discovered it had all been a mistake.

He was forced to be reborn, only for his entire village to be wiped out not long afterward.

It seemed as though everything had been arranged by fate.

Here’s my own assessment of the book I wrote.

First of all, I really like traditional fantasy.

But traditional fantasy has now lost out to straightforward System stories and rebirth-and-reincarnation stories, because its settings are too complicated and it takes too many words to explain how everything works.

After all, System stories don’t need to explain the rules. You just play along like it’s a game and complete the quests. Even if that goes against the protagonist’s true nature, somehow he’ll still do it.

And that’s fair. Life is already so exhausting these days. If I have to use my brain while reading a novel, won’t that wear me out?

But I’ve always believed there are still people who truly love reading novels.

This isn’t a power fantasy, and the plot is quiet and unhurried. If that’s not your thing, feel free not to open it.

As an author, I don’t want to waste anyone’s time.
