As the book says, "filial piety to husband is the foundation of virtue", we must respect and love our parents. My favorite character is Zengzi. He answered Confucius's questions very well and I learned a lot. This book also tells us that we must not only be filial to our families, but also be kind to others, in order to be a true gentleman.
