This book is a novel written by Emily Bronte, one of the Bronte sisters. It was first published in 1847 and is one of the representative works of British literature in the 19th century. The new Drenshaw also loved his wife very much, but later became decadent. He just didn't want Hickley to be with Catherine. He wanted Linton to marry her for the sake of his sister, and for the sake of her future life. What's funny is that when Catherine chose a partner, she also made it based on material life. Love without material basis is really a mess. For the young Hickly, it was impossible to hope for love without money, which was painful to the core. There is nothing wrong with Linton. He loves his wife and is very responsible for his family. If he insists on having any shortcomings, it is that he did not keep his eyes open and see clearly what kind of person Catherine is.
