In chapter 165, the finale, Li Jingwen keeps studying medicine and building her career while making the rugged Mu Ziguo blush. Once their lives settle down, they have children and enjoy a prosperous life.

Mu Ziguo froze. “???”
“Is that not allowed?”
“It is.”
Hearing her soft, sweet voice, Mu Ziguo couldn’t stop his ears from heating up. His heart raced, and he hurriedly looked away, explaining, “Miss, you should think it over. It could affect your reputation.”
“So what? You’re not going to kiss me and then deny it, are you?” Li Jingwen gazed at him with wide eyes.
“N-no, I’m not.” Mu Ziguo’s face burned. The obvious sight of her fair hand resting on his arm left him flustered, and he stammered, “I-I was giving you CPR...”
Li Jingwen looked aggrieved. “But you still kissed me, didn’t you?”
“...” Mu Ziguo was at a loss for words. His face flushed and his heart pounded, the veins bulging on his arm betraying his nerves. He hurried to explain,
“T-that was CPR.”
Li Jingwen pouted. “Didn’t you just kiss me hard on the mouth?”
Mu Ziguo had no way to deny it. He’d just heard the auntie nearby say that he’d kissed Li Jingwen hard. His face burning, he admitted it loudly in front of everyone: “Yes.”
“Then that settles it. Carry me home.”
“Okay.”
