Is There Any Novel That Is Short but Can Make Me Burst into Tears?

I am really into tears. I can easily empathize but my tears are ridiculously high. I have no feeling at all about highly recommended novels like "You Will Be Back at Dawn", but I also like reading sadistic stories very much. So far I have never found anything that can really make me sad.
