Inklight

A former special forces soldier living at the bottom of society is willing to break the law to survive, robbing the rich to help the poor and punishing evil to uphold justice. To promote the spirit of chivalry and help more vulnerable people, he establishes a mysterious organization called Moguang. Its name means that even in the depths of darkness, there is always a ray of light, bringing a little hope and warmth to those trapped within it.

This book recounts the protagonist's growth: from a young man just entering society, full of hope, to someone battered by life and beset by hardships, then to someone who sees the true nature of humanity and ultimately turns to Taoism, retreating into the mountains.

This is a moving story about accepting that if you cannot change the world, you can change yourself, striving to become a ray of light in the darkness and doing what little you can to make the world a better place.
