Northeast China Paranormal Tales: The Yellow Immortal Temple

Deep in the old forests of Northeast China lies a forgotten village and an ancient Yellow Immortal temple.

I, Wu Xiaofan, was born in this village in the 1980s. From childhood, an old immortal foretold that I was destined to face three calamities and eight hardships.

Though I never believed in such superstitions, I still ran into one difficulty after another at every stage of my life.

I used to be a waiter, worked in sales, and drove a taxi, but fate always seemed to toy with me, and strange things kept happening around me.

With no other choice, I set out on the path to becoming a shaman.
