A Corpse from the Start, I Devour Mutants and Become a God

[Villain] [Invincible] [Meme humor] [Anime] [Power fantasy]

Beneath the bustling city, otherworldly creatures lurk in human skin. The only way to gain supernatural abilities and a glimmer of hope is to undergo modifications and become a half-otherworldly creature! Humanity is on the brink of collapse! Chu Xie was an ordinary person, living an ordinary life without a clue about any of this, until the day he “died.”

Once you're a corpse, you should return to dust and earth. That's what Chu Xie thought. But after nearly getting himself killed, he accidentally learned the truth and, by a twist of fate, set out on a path to grow stronger by devouring otherworldly creatures.

He did get stronger, and even became a god, but somehow nothing seemed quite right...?

The inhuman protagonist is more than a little unhinged, and his identity and past will be revealed gradually. All in all, this is an invincible face-slapping power fantasy about an absurdly strong, deeply disturbed protagonist.

Content warning: Although there is no female lead, there are female supporting characters, and they have a fair amount of screen time. The protagonist is less prominent in the early chapters, which lean more toward an ensemble cast.
