Hongmen is a mysterious folk organization with little official history. Most of its events are recorded in folklore. I read through many folk histories and found many discrepancies in the records. For example, about the origin of Hongmen, some historical records record that Hongmen began in Yin Hongsheng, also known as Hongying, in the Ming Dynasty, some record that Hongmen began in the early Qing Dynasty, Zheng Chenggong, and some records that Hongmen began in the Kangxi period. After much comparison, I combined historical data with my own understanding to compile this book. Many code words, rituals, oaths, etc. In the book are from ancient books. Due to my limited education and incomplete historical data, if there are any mistakes, I hope you will feel free to enlighten me.
