Worlds Collide, and I Become the Lord of Divination

[Supernatural suspense + fantastical imagination + alternate dimensions + deduction + Superpowers + tomb raiding] Also known as The Mystery of the Mountain Spirit: Records of the Strange Realm

Ghost dragonflies, half-insect people, three-eyed people, eyeless cats, red-striped snakes, fork-tongued women...

College student Jiang Yan unexpectedly comes into possession of his family heirloom, the “Mountain Spirit Flower Coin.”

From then on, one eerie incident follows another.

Meanwhile, veteran reporter Lu Hanchi is investigating the “Echo Case,” which caused a sensation at Zhanjiang University twelve years ago, in the 1990s.

He, too, is drawn into this bizarre upheaval against his will.

As the investigation deepens, Jiang Yan defies his ancestors’ instructions in order to save everyone. He digs up his family’s ancestral grave, all to find a long-buried book of silk manuscripts...

To uncover the truth, the two join forces to form a team that investigates the supernatural.

Along the way, they gather a group of extraordinary people:

Those who control the elements, turn wind into blades, and shape water into walls;

Those who foresee the future and see what’s coming;

Those who speak with spirits and travel through time and space...

The true face of the otherworld is gradually revealed.

Confronted by otherworldly creatures as bizarre as those from the Classic of Mountains and Seas, and by one deadly trap after another, can they solve the many mysteries and find the path to their own destinies?
