I Became the Obsessive Prince’s Darling, but I’m an Undercover Agent

(A future female national preceptor who's a double agent and determined to work undercover, and a God of War prince who's cold on the surface but fragile and hopelessly lovestruck beneath it all)

Ji Qianyao, destined to become the future national preceptor of Great Jing, is plain-looking and good for nothing but alchemy. The noblewomen of the capital all look down on her, and the court officials all underestimate her.

To make matters worse, she gets on the wrong side of Yan Xingjian, Great Jing's unpredictable God of War. Whenever they meet, they clash, unable to stand each other and each wanting the other dead.

Ji Qianyao: “I don't think we have that many grudges between us. How about we make peace?”

Yan Xingjian: “Do you think this prince would make peace with a spy?”

Ji Qianyao is baffled. When did her identity get exposed?

Was it because her pills killed the emperor?

Because her endless tricks had scared the noblewomen of the capital?

Because she'd collected compromising secrets on every court official?

Or because he'd seen her false face come off?

P.S. This is a fictional world. Early on, the male and female leads are sworn enemies trying to kill each other. Later, the male lead falls head over heels and can't escape. The female lead keeps her identity hidden at first, then unleashes her full power.
