One Piece has already fallen apart beyond repair. The plot is hit-or-miss, full of inexplicable backstabbing, and the characters keep getting ruined. As for debating whether anyone is right or wrong, there’s not much point. It’s just a contest to see who’s worse.
Things aren’t going well in the author’s life, so they’re borrowing a familiar setting to write a feel-good power fantasy.
