The demonic cultivator Gu Yu ascended from the Immortal Realm and arrived in another world as a Nascent Soul. He possessed the body of a beggar who had frozen to death in winter, then revived and began cultivating again.
After recovering to the Foundation Establishment stage, he discovered that his physical body was not perfectly compatible with his soul.
His demonic aura was accidentally exposed, and he was mistaken for a demonic spy. Hunted by the Holy Light Saint King and several human deities, he eventually had his body shattered by Liu Xuanzhen with a single shot from the Qiankun Spear while Liu Xuanzhen was visiting the Saint King's Palace.
Using Yin Demon Rebirth, he successfully reincarnated inside the body of a female thief who had once offended Gu Yu. At last, he had a body perfectly compatible with his soul.
As he explored the world, he discovered another transmigrator from his homeland who had arrived before him. He witnessed this young man from the 21st century hold fast to his convictions and beliefs.
