Synopsis

Under the laws of the universe, countless civilizations of different forms and kinds came into being. Then one day, humanoid carbon-based life forms appeared in the universe. They called themselves humans, built a glorious civilization, and spread its seeds through colonization. They also intermarried with other kinds of civilizations. After countless ages, humans became the most widely distributed and numerous species in the universe, the dominant life form. Other highly intelligent life forms could also cultivate and evolve, or undergo genetic modification, to become part of human civilization. Humanity then established the laws governing civilization across the universe.

Until one day, a new form of life known as the First Generation was born. Seeking to replace human civilization and become the dominant life form in the universe, they attacked a human civilization in the Milky Way known as the Nine Heavens and Six Lands. They wanted to seize the galaxy and destroy all human civilizations, or genetically modify humans and turn them into First Generation beings. The Nine Heavens and Six Lands was a human technological civilization with highly advanced technology. It had even created a supercomputer capable of calculating the future.

More than ten thousand years ago, the Nine Heavens and Six Lands discovered Earth, a beautiful, vibrant planet with life but no civilization. They planted the seeds of humanity there and let it develop on its own.

However, as the war unfolded, all human civilizations in the Milky Way joined the conflict, including the cultivation civilization of the humans and the Alliance of Gods. Under the pressure of war, and with help from the Nine Heavens and Six Lands, Earth developed rapidly.

And under that same pressure, the protagonist Tao Yueming rose to prominence.

Novels About Traveling from Earth into the Universe

Something similar to Swallowed Star, The Arrival of the Strongest in the City, Rise of the Revival Era, and Cultivation Frenzy. Ideally, it starts in a middle or high school, with the protagonist rising step by step, entering the universe, joining humanity, and fighting alien races. That kind of story.

Taoist Novels, Not Just Stories About People Who Call Themselves Taoist Priests

I’m looking for Daoist-themed novels that can include supernatural elements. Not necessarily ones about Daoist temples, though. And just having Daoist elements doesn’t automatically make something a Daoist novel. The Daoists in "The Legend of Qin" are a good example of what I’m after. I’m not looking for fortune-teller novels. Thanks, everyone!
