This book!
Will take you across a thousand years, as we explore the romance of Shu Han bit by bit through the long river of history!
This book has no System and no golden finger. It draws mostly on historical records, with a little reference to Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Background:
In the twelfth year of Jianxing of Shu Han (234 CE), Zhuge Liang raised an army to attack Wei, advancing straight toward Guanzhong with the aim of bringing the realm under his rule in one decisive campaign.
But heaven did not grant his wish. In August of that year, Zhuge Liang died at Wuzhangyuan.
Shu Han had lost its pillar of support.
In September, Shu Han ministers Wei Yan and Yang Yi clashed at Nangukou and accused each other of treason. Yet in court, everyone backed Yang Yi and opposed Wei Yan.
Days later, Wei Yan, a staunch advocate of the northern campaigns, was defeated and killed, and his entire clan was wiped out...
The Shu Han regime declined by the day, and the great northern campaign remained stalled for more than a decade...
The protagonist, Wei Sheng, is Wei Yan’s fourth son. His soul travels back to the eve of the clash.
Knowing how history will unfold, Wei Sheng resolves to save Wei Yan and restore the Han dynasty!
As the mystery of Nangukou is unveiled, Shu Han’s internal problems come into view as well. Factions scheme against one another, powerful clans control the lifeblood of the state, and the southern tribes submit, only to rebel again...
Watch as Wei Sheng resolves these problems one by one and writes his own chapter in the long river of history.
