Every Year, Another Little Man

[She pursues him at first + grounded romance + sweet wife-pursuit later + reunion after years apart + happy ending]

As a teenager, Xia Xiaoman fell for Zhou Wen, the star of the finance department. She gave it everything she had, just to hear him say they could be together.

But throughout their three-year relationship, Zhou Wen was always busy, and Xia Xiaoman was always waiting. Their time together was scarce, and their beautiful dreams gradually faded away.

When disaster struck, they drifted further and further apart. In the end, their passion ran out, leaving them both exhausted.

Xia Xiaoman felt a deep sadness. The world should not revolve around someone who doesn't know how to care for her. Better to part ways and let go of all attachment.

When they meet again, one is a business tycoon and the other unemployed. By sheer bad luck, they are forced to share a home.

Xia Xiaoman feels insecure and awkward, but Zhou Wen begins to patiently coax her, closing in step by step. Why has her aloof ex suddenly become so gentle and warm? When did he turn into a lovesick fool?

As they mend their broken relationship, Zhou Wen murmurs softly, coaxing her: “Manman, don't go...”

From youthful heartbeats to heartbreak and parting, from an unexpected reunion to falling in love and getting married, Zhou Wen makes a wish: may every year, forever, be spent with you.
