I Told You, No Illegal Spirit Cultivation!

(Complete)

After the founding of the People’s Republic, spirits were forbidden from taking human form. But it’s fine if you do it legally. So if you don’t want to be wanted by the authorities, you’d better register properly.

“Illegal transformation: like you.”

“Legal transformation: like me.”

(A modern urban fantasy about spirits, with suspense and supernatural elements. My own take on the legends of the Classic of Mountains and Seas, with plenty of original worldbuilding and a large ensemble cast. No romance in the main story; the protagonist is adored by everyone. Two updates every day, like clockwork.)
