A Chinese Odyssey 2: I’ve Bled for the Celestial Court

Earth ascended to a higher dimension, and all of humanity was thrown into the world of A Chinese Odyssey. But this wasn't the game world people knew.

Everyone thought reaching level 200 and ascending would make them a big shot, only to get beaten senseless by demon kings and gods and Buddhas from every corner.

The endgame is a government job. Following a demon king to wreak havoc in the Celestial Court is great fun, but when he's shoved onto the Demon-Slaying Execution Platform, it finally clicks. He shouts, “I shed blood for the Celestial Court! I demand to see His Majesty!”

Today he's a heavenly soldier, standing guard at the Southern Heavenly Gate. Tomorrow he's a heavenly general, enjoying the songs at the Jade Pool banquet. But when he's shoved onto the Immortal-Slaying Platform, he flies into a rage and shouts, “I shed blood for the Celestial Court! I demand to see the Dao Ancestor!”
